Our prices for Triobike equipment is inclusive of GST. If you have received a quote from an overseas supplier on the other hand, you would need to budget paying the 15% GST to NZ Customs when the bike arrives.
On average the turnaround time from paying your deposit to your Triobike arriving in New Zealand is 4-5 months. At times it can be faster and at times it can take longer. In all cases, the time starts counting from when a deposit has been paid, as we cannot place orders without confirmation.
The Triobike Taxi mid-drive is now equipped with the Bosch CX Cargoline motor system, featuring a class-leading 85Nm of torque and a unique power curve designed specifically for heavier cargo bikes.
This motor is powerful, quiet and super reliable. All e-systems provided by Triobike comply with the EN 15194 standard. This model comes with a secure two-year warranty, allowing you to relax on the road with confidence.
The power unit consists of a Bosch Mid Drive system. This 250W 85Nm system offers a higher torque output and is ideal for areas with steeper hills or for heavier loads. It comes with a 545Wh battery.
The taxi comes with an Enviolo CA internal gear system comes with a service-free Gates Carbon Drive for ultimate low maintenance, no need to lubricate.
The Triobike taxi box is exclusively made of sustainable wood, certified with both the Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC. The PEFC label guarantees that the wood comes from a sustainable cultivation close to the process facility.
All of the TAXI boxes are made from beech wood that is between 100-140 years old.
On the Triobike Taxi, the front wheels are slightly inclined to improve the handling and stability of the bike during the ride. Furthermore, the trikes are designed to lean to the inside when turning. This feature not only offers a smooth and comfortable riding experience, having the riders mass lean to the same side as the turn also increases stability and the riding comfort.

Cycling Without Age (CWA) is a worldwide movement that started in Denmark in 2012 and has brought the joy of cycling to thousands of people of all ages and abilities. A lack of mobility is no longer an obstacle to getting around on a bike everyone can enjoy the outdoors, the wind in their hair and the immeasurable lifestyle benefits that only a bike can provide. Volunteer pilots (cyclists) can take two elderly passengers in specially designed rickshaw-style cargo bikes (trishaws) to local parks, scenic places or just down to the shops.
